The temp reading in the car was 6 degrees, it was like february and I wouldn't have bothered if it hadn't been for tha fact that windsurfing opportunities are so rare for a 9 to 5 worker these days.

It was lashing down so I got changed before I rigged up. Opted for a 5.4 and big wave board and blasted into the funnelling opposite the river mouth. Had to stop after one run with hot aches, in May!!! Went for another and got lulled a bit so I decided to go for the volume advantage of the Ace. Had a lot of fun with some blistering reaches across the bay. Plenty of stops with cold hands but managed to squeeze in some 360's and push tack attempts. Not bad for a 9 year old board.

Would have been a 5 star day but for the cold.
